The DH WRI Medical Assistant Apprenticeship training program is a paid and benefitted full-time intensive 12 weeks of studies in partnership with Colby-Sawyer College. In addition to classroom and virtual instruction, trainees can expect a significant amount of homework and studying outside of the classroom. Upon transferring out of the classroom portion, participants will be enrolled in a 2000-hour full-time Registered Apprenticeship through the US Department of Labor.   Apprenticeship provides a unique, flexible training system that combines job related technical instruction with structured on-the-job learning experiences. Apprentices have the opportunity to “earn while they learn” as they become more proficient on the job. Monthly professional and technical competencies are reviewed and learning plans are developed with supervisors. Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and Clinics (DH) is the leading academic/medical facility in Northern New England. The Audiology Section at DH provides a range of diagnostic and amplification/management options for all ages and works closely with Otolaryngology/Otology. Various behavioral hearing tests and auditory physiologic measures are performed, including sedated and unsedated ABR, as well as OAEs, VNGs, VHITs, VEMPs and ECOGs.  Our aural rehabilitation services include hearing aid dispensing, cochlear implant management, osseointegrated technologies and hearing assistive technology (HAT). The clinic strives to practice evidence-based audiology and employs best practices.   We are seeking one part-time and one full-time Audiologist to support our adult patient population. The ACO Compliance Program Analyst (the “Program Analyst”) is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the DH ACO Compliance Program. The Program Analyst directs the execution of proactive and reactive compliance activities, as well as maintains the core elements of the ACO Compliance Program. The role will also administer oversight to comply with Medicare Advantage directed First-Tier Downstream Related Entity (FDR) compliance program. Administration activities will include, but are not limited to, readiness audits and execution of payer attestations intended to meet CMS regulatory requirements and promote an effective compliance program across DH.

Works in collaboration with the flight nurse and other medical crew members in the transport and care of critically ill or injured patients. Assesses, manages and treats patients during air or ground transport.

Assists the interdisciplinary team in providing a well-supplied, safe, and clean inpatient unit that meets regulatory standards.

Our DH ED is the only Level 1 Trauma Center in the state with 31K patients seen annually in our 33 bed unit.  Patients range from neonates through geriatric populations and various states of health, often times with multiple diseases processes.   Our ED Team is staffed by RN's, LPN's, Paramedics, EMT's and LNA's.   Plans, directs, coordinates and evaluates the operational, fiscal and personnel activities to ensure the provision of high quality, safe patient/family centered care 24 hours a day. Advocates for and allocates available resources to promote efficient, effective, safe and compassionate nursing care.   Our successful ED UNM will be team orientated with 3-5 years of leadership experience.

Under the direction of the nurse leader, provides assistance with clerical, non-clinical tasks. These tasks can include, but are not limited to, ensuring that the clinical areas are well-supplied and stocked, and the patient care area is clean and ready for patients. This position requires the ability to work in a fast paced, detailed environment with an emphasis on team work and prioritizing responsibilities. This individual may have direct access to drug products and secure medication areas (not to include controlled substance locations) in order to manage the storage, handling, and disposal of medications consistent with the Medication Storage and Handling Policy
