Overview

The Section of Medical Oncology, Dartmouth Cancer Center, at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire is seeking an experienced, licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the Neuro-Oncology team. The ideal candidate will have experience in neuroscience or oncology and be able to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

 

The ideal candidate will be an integral member of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to the management of patients with both benign and malignant brain tumors.  Practice will occur in the outpatient setting, offering comprehensive management of patients from the time of first diagnosis, through active treatment, and during surveillance or routine monitoring.

Responsibilities

The position will require proficiency in the management of neurologic symptoms, medical management of chemotherapy and associated issues affecting patients with CNS tumors, and routine monitoring.  It is intended that the provider will have a significant stake in the management of these patients, taking an active role in their care, and serving as a source of continuity from diagnosis through disease trajectory.  The provider will be well supported in a fulfilling role by neuro-oncologists and a multidisciplinary team.

Required Licensure/Certifications

  • Eligible for RN licensure in the State of NH (APRN only)
  • Eligible for APRN or PA licensure in the State of NH
  • Eligible for Federal DEA Registration
