The ultimate goal of the OSC is to provide the right care in the right place and the right time for our patients who seek our surgical services.    The Registered Nurse is a key member of the surgical team who may function in a circulator or scrubbing capacity.  Current services include ENT, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, ophthalmology, gynecology, and general surgery.  Outpatient Surgery experience preferred and the desire to work as a team member in an efficient, patient centered environment a must.  Computer experience preferred as well as the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.  The OSC is growing and needs an individual that can function clinically as well as be a part of designing OSC processes for the future    The ideal candidate must be a team player, enthusiastic and willing to be flexible to meet case volume needs.

In conjunction with the Director of DHMC Volunteer Service and under the direction of the Emergency Department Manager manage all aspects of the emergency department volunteer program. (Annually approximately 30 volunteers contribute over 4,400 hours of volunteer service within the department). In addition to day-to-day operations at NLH, the CEO is responsible for promoting an environment of collaboration and building a culture of exceptional service. They may possess a physician or other clinician credential and associated license to practice, but this is not required.   Candidates must possess a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in executive-level healthcare leadership. Experience in a non-profit organization and critical access hospital environment is preferred.
