Our Academic Medical Center has expanded to meet the inpatient psychiatric care needs of adolescent patients in our rural New England region.
Our six-bed Adolescent Medical Psychiatric Care unit provides specialized, patient-and-family centered care for adolescents ages 12-17. The interdisciplinary team supports patients through comprehensive assessment, individualized treatment planning, psychiatric care, and evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and family therapy.

Our Psychiatric Care Unit is a 24-bed inpatient and Designated Receiving Facility supporting our region. Our team approach is dynamic, with a focus on empowering patients to take charge of their treatment and move forward. With an average stay of 8 days, you will also have the opportunity to support and facilitate patient healing in a therapeutic environment.
This is a PT, 2x12hr shifts/week, rotating nights across all nights, including weekends and holidays.
