Our Academic Medical Center has expanded to meet the inpatient psychiatric care needs of adolescent patients in our rural New England region.
Our six-bed Adolescent Medical Psychiatric Care unit provides specialized, patient-and-family centered care for adolescents ages 12-17. The interdisciplinary team supports patients through comprehensive assessment, individualized treatment planning, psychiatric care, and evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and family therapy.
We are seeking an LNA passionate about supporting adolescents during a critical time in their lives. Successful candidates will bring compassion, flexibility, strong communication skills, and a collaborative, team-oriented approach to care.
This is a FT 36hrs/week rotating day shift position. The shifts will rotate from 7a-7p and include weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Performs various patient care activities and related nonprofessional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients. Assists nursing service personnel with a variety of patient care duties. Possesses direct access to drug products and secure medication locations in order to manage the storage, handling and disposal of medications consistent with the Medication Storage and Handling Policy.
