The ED Lead/Triage Nurse is a vital leadership and clinical role responsible for overseeing shift operations in the Emergency Department, ensuring efficient patient flow, safe care delivery, and effective team coordination. This role also involves assessing and prioritizing patients upon arrival through systematic triage, initiating appropriate care pathways, and facilitating communication between healthcare teams.
Provide clerical support to the department, as well as facilitate the communication with patients’ families, physicians, and other departments within the hospital, in accordance with hospital and department policy and procedure.
The EMT-Basic functions as a primary provider of advanced prehospital emergency medical care and transportation. Working with autonomy, the EMT-Basic is responsible for patient care decisions, scene management, and ensuring high-quality clinical documentation. This position demands critical thinking, physical endurance, and the ability to perform in high-stress environments, often with limited support.
