We are seeking an RN to join our team in the Neurology clinic! This department provides care for patients over the age of 18 who have been impacted neurologically (stroke, epilepsy, dementia, Multiple Sclerosis, headaches, etc.). Complete documentation in a timely and accurate manner. Coordinate with other professional staff when there is a need to revise the care plan. - Accompany patient when they are permitted outside the home. Promote mental alertness of the patient through conversation and activity. Perioperative 101 Program (August 5, 2024 start date) Operating Room, Medical Center, Main Campus This position is for the Periop 101 program, a 9-month program for nurses combining Association of peri-Operative Registered Nurses (AORN) approved online didactic learning with clinical skills labs and experiences in the Operating Room. It is a Full-time, benefited position. The Main OR operates 26 operating room suites and is dedicated to providing care for adult and pediatric patients (Thoracic, General, GYN, urology, Plastics, ENT, Eyes, Orthopedics, Cardiac, Vascular, Neuro and Transplant), to include trauma. Typical schedule is 10 hour shifts to include call for Holidays (Note the first 8 weeks will be 8 hour days). The ultimate goal of the Operating Room is to provide the right care in the right place and the right time for our patients who seek our surgical services.   The program begins with participation in selected Periop Orientation offerings, which are integrated with Perioperative Nursing content. Upon successful completion of the didactic portion of training, the nurse is paired with a mentor in the circulating role for a designated period of time. Following this, the nurse spends time in each of the surgical specialties offered at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center before choosing a surgical service in which to specialize their nursing practice.

Our Pharmacy Technicians work under the supervision of licensed Pharmacists to support patient care by answering calls, addressing the needs of various teams, compounding (combining) medications tailored to patients’ individual needs, as well as dispensing and delivering medications to inpatient units. Pharmacy Technicians will routinely engage with the training and support of new staff, interns, students, apprentices, and other learners who rotate through the pharmacy. Inpatient Pharmacy Technicians are hired as a Registered Technician, Certified Technician I, Certified Technician II, or Certified Technician III depending on qualifications and experience and are encouraged to advance through the technician career ladder as additional skills and experience are acquired.   Our collaborative, team-oriented environment provides our technicians opportunities to work on projects and to be actively involved in initiatives that affect their work. Following the training period, technicians work within one of our specialized teams: - Inventory - Receiving, billing, invoice/PO management, drug shortage management, inventory optimization - Compounding - Sterile and nonsterile compounding according to USP standards, advanced training for compounding and handling of hazardous medications - Distribution - Facilitating availability of medications in various patient care areas, management and operation of pharmacy technology, includes a variety of roles responsible for ensuring efficient and smooth operation of the central pharmacy Shifts: Part-time and full-time opportunities are currently available. We offer both rotating day/evening shifts and set overnight shifts to support our 24/7 pharmacy. Our shift differentials are 10% for evenings, 20% for overnights, and 15% for weekends.   New to a career in Pharmacy?
