Overview

This is a hybrid remote position with weekly onsite work in the Supply Chain department/System. Dartmouth Health is located in the state of NH. 

The Technology and Systems Senior Manager, leads analytics and business intelligence initiatives that drive strategic decision-making and operational efficiency across Dartmouth Health. This role is responsible for providing actionable insights, ensuring data integrity, and partnering with stakeholders to deliver measurable value.

Responsibilities

  1. Leads, mentors, and develops a high-performing team of data analysts and business intelligence specialists, fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and excellence.
  2. Defines, implements, and oversees the enterprise-wide data analytics strategy to ensure alignment with organizational goals and drive measurable business impact.
  3. Establishes and enforces rigorous data governance, quality, and compliance standards to maintain accuracy, integrity, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  4. Architects, designs, and maintains advanced analytics models, dashboards, and executive-level reports that inform strategic and operational decision-making.
  5. Partners with clinical, operational, and business leaders to identify analytics needs, translate requirements, and deliver actionable solutions that support organizational objectives.
  6. Transforms complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership, enabling data-driven decision-making and strategic planning.
  7. Champions adoption and effective utilization of analytics and visualization tools, including Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, and R, across the organization.
  8. Monitors and evaluates emerging trends, best practices, and innovative technologies in data science and analytics to continuously enhance organizational capabilities.
  9. Identifies and drives opportunities for operational efficiencies, cost optimization, and performance improvement through data-informed strategies.
  10. Performs other duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of formal education on a year-for-year basis.
  • 8+ years of experience in data analytics, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Expertise in SQL, Python/R, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
