Nurse Educator (RN) - CHaD (Pediatric and Pediatric Critical Care Inpatient units)
The Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (CHaD) is New Hampshire’s only children’s hospital, based on the DHMC campus in Lebanon and integrated with Dartmouth Health Children’s to deliver advanced, family-centered care for infants, children, and teens. CHaD provides comprehensive inpatient services including a dedicated pediatric inpatient unit with an on-site Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) alongside neonatal intensive care and a wide range of pediatric specialties. Beyond the main campus, CHaD’s network spans 12 locations across New Hampshire and Vermont with 247 providers in 30 specialties, caring for about 95,000 children each year, so families can access expert care close to home.
Why this role?
Join a centralized Nursing Education team aligned with the Chief Nursing Officer and Center for Nursing Excellence to mentor and grow nurses across their careers—through orientation, competency, preceptor excellence, and continuous professional development.
These are just a few highlights of being a nurse at Dartmouth Health in New Hampshire.
Why are we so unique? We are a nationally recognized Academic Medical Center in the middle of the White Mountains of New Hampshire. We understand that “quality of life” means different things to different people, but we are confident you will love it here as we have beautiful, rural and suburban housing options, world-class primary, secondary and graduate schools, hundreds of lakes, thousands of miles of hiking trails and some of the best skiing in the country. This means you can be a happy nurse with more quality time with friends, family, pets, or maybe just quiet hikes by yourself. Our idea of traffic is a line at the chair lift on the ski mountain.
