About the Role:
Our clinical team includes four Registered Nurses and a Medical Assistant. As an LNA, you’ll work closely with both providers and nursing staff. In addition to rooming patients and assisting with clinical care, you will also maintain your own schedule—serving both internal and external clients.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities
  1. Greets, checks in patients, and notifies appropriate provider. Prepares patient, room and equipment for procedures and exams.
  2. Takes and records vital signs. Informs provider of patient vital signs and concerns.
  3. Recognizes and treats emergency patients as a priority, assists with patient examinations and treatments.
  4. Handles patient situations over the phone, schedules appointments and procedures with medical professionals. Understands limitations in dealing with patients over the phone and involves nursing staff and providers.
  5. Will be trained in specific Occupational Medicine/Employee Health screening tools and software.
  6. Register new patients and establishes a medical record.
  7. Prepares patient billings.
  8. Assists patients by filling out insurance and other forms.
  9. Supplies authorized information upon request by third party payors.
  10. Instructs patients in preparation for specific procedures.
  11. Collects and processes routine laboratory specimen.
  12. Operates and maintains clinical equipment.
  13. Maintains and uses aseptic technique including sterilization, disinfection and disposal of contaminated material.
  14. Cleans, wraps and autoclaves instruments. Cares for supplies and equipment.
  15. Performs other duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications

• High school graduate required. • Must demonstrate keyboarding skills and be familiar with computer use. • Previous hospital experience preferred.

Required Licensure/Certifications

• Licensed Nursing Assistant in the State of NH required. • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate required.
