Dartmouth Health is pleased to announce a national search for the System’s next Chief Financial Officer.
We are seeking a proven and strategic financial executive to lead the fiscal operations of New Hampshire’s only academic health system. This is a pivotal opportunity to shape the long-term financial health and sustainability of an innovative and mission-driven organization. The successful candidate will possess a track record of accomplishing big goals within the health system setting, fostering sustainable growth, and maintaining positive relationships.
This is an onsite role with an office at Dartmouth Health’s largest site in Lebanon, NH. The Chief Executive Officer will also have the ability to work across a variety of system member locations.
About the job:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) leads the health system’s finance shared- service, including the development and administration of policies, as well as long-term planning and annual budgeting, that support solid financial practices across all member locations of the System. They will ensure compliance and proper oversight of treasury, tax, accounting, billing, internal controls, corporate finance, and financial planning for all Dartmouth Health business units and will be responsible for the maintenance of records and procedures required to adequately safeguard the organization’s assets.
The CFO is an integral role in the success of the System, providing strategic guidance and coordinating long-term financial plans to ensure compatibility with the System’s financial capacity, credit profile, and long-term financial viability. This role serves as a key member of the Chief Officer Team, working collaboratively to promote Dartmouth Health’s values, drive performance, and achieve strategic and operational objectives.
