Join Our Outpatient Orthopaedics Team – No Nights or Weekends!

 

We’re seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our outpatient Orthopaedic clinic. In this role, you’ll be an essential part of the care team, helping patients with complex muscular skeletal conditions navigate their treatment with confidence and support. The Ortho Clinic is a fast pace, multi-hall clinic seeing 200-250 patients per day! If you are interested in Muscular & Skeletal health, this is the place for you.

 

In addition to Licensed Practical Nurses, our care team is made up of a stellar Provider team, passionate RN's, MAs, and LNA's working alongside Orthopedic Technicians and Athletic Trainers. This passionate team offers an environment where growth opportunities and additional training are supported.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Triage patient concerns by phone and prioritize care
  • Partner with Orthopaedic surgeons, APPs, and other care providers
  • Support and manage individualized outpatient care plans
  • Communicate with patients through telehealth tools (phone and portal)
  • Support ongoing patient education and clinic quality improvement

Responsibilities

  1. Utilizes the nursing process - assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to facilitate continuing health care to individuals, families, and community.
  2. Identifies common and recurring nursing needs of the patient.
  3. Recognizes the need for and performs routine office procedures and testing.
  4. Assists patients to achieve basic health care goals.
  5. Identifies patient education needs, providing instruction or referring appropriately.
  6. Assists staff in institutional quality improvement measures and office standards of practice.
  7. Provides telephone advice to patients per physician specific protocols; refers patients appropriately.
  8. Participates in staff meetings.
  9. Performs other duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.

Required Licensure/Certifications

  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of NH required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate required.
