Overview

Monday-Friday. 6:30am-3:00pm. 

Benefits start on the first day of employment. 

 

 

Patrols and maintains the public/employee parking lots. Conducts parking enforcement as needed.

Responsibilities

  1. Monitors all parking lots for compliance with Medical Center parking regulations. Provides advice and guidance to patients, visitors and guests as needed. Tickets unauthorized parked cars as necessary. Watches for and follow up on safety hazard parking situations such as cars leaking gas, on fire, flat tires, rolled out of spaces, etc. Provides vehicle assistance services such as jump starts, changing or inflating tires, vehicle unlocks, escorts to the service station for gas, relocation of vehicles and snow removal.
  2. Direct and control traffic.
  3. Conducts directed patrols as assigned.
  4. Document incidents occurring in the parking lots, including motor vehicle crashes.
  5. Set up and programming of traffic information message trailers.
  6. Maintains proficiency in use of traffic enforcement software; utilizes software to issue tickets.
  7. Responds to emergencies and code calls as required and per established procedures. Performs the patient care functions of CPR, to include the use of AEDs, especially in the parking lot areas. For medical incidents outside of the building, contacts the Lebanon Fire Department for ambulance response.
  8. Assists with parking space and utilization surveys. Rearranges parking barricades to meet special needs and events.
  9. Assists DHART with helicopter arrivals and departures using proper flight safety training.
  10. Performs other duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or GED/equivalent required.

Required Licensure/Certifications

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required in accordance with D-H’s Driver Disqualifications Guidelines.
  • Must complete all DHMC required training within 90 days of starting.
