Evaluates and participates in diagnostic testing, and treats patients.
Responsibilities
Based on medical referral, medical record, and examination evaluates, sets goals, plans, and executes treatment. Provides discharge recommendations, exercise programs, and family teaching.
Determines the need to refer patients to other diagnostic, medical, and therapeutic services.
Participates in and supports departmental programs such as in-service education, student programs, volunteer/observation programs, committees, etc.
Provides documentation and record keeping. Coordinates scheduling of patients and meetings.
Performs other duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech Pathology.
Required Licensure/Certifications
Licensed SLP with NH eligibility
BLS
Certificate of Clinical Competence Speech Language Pathology (CCC - SLP)
