Utilize computerized maintenance management system, to enter in work orders, track progress, communicate with users, and closeout orders once completed.
Maintains familiarity with all safety features of plant systems equipment and complies with current safety regulations.
Contacts the police / fire departments with emergent issues of building safety and security.
Sets up rooms for meetings or conferences, arranges tables and chairs and secures specified AV materials and equipment.
Rotates through schedule for emergency calls as requested for building related emergencies, after hours alarm calls, and staffing shortages.
Performs other duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications
High School graduate or equivalent required.
Prior experience in a health care environment preferred.
Excellent organization, written and oral communication skills.
Experience with the operation and maintenance of building mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
Knowledge of air quality, OSHA, hazardous materials and other related environmental issues that could affect health care facilities.
Be available for on-call.
Required Licensure/Certifications
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required in accordance with D-H's Driver Disqualifications Guidelines.
