28 hours per week

Performs diagnostic radiological exams and procedures independently and may supervise new hires and student technologists from area colleges.

1. Administers all steps of the X-Ray with the patient: Pre-exam processing, performing the exam, and post-exam documentation.
2. Maintains cleanliness of all rooms, machines and cassettes in the department.
3. Maintains supply inventory.
4. Performs exams in diagnostic x-ray, fluoroscopy, ambuatory surgery center and dexa.  
5. Performs other duties as required or assigned.

• Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved allied health program specific to the modality employed.
• Must be able to perform duties independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be proficient in the use of Radiology Information Systems (RIS), Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), Transport, and/or other computer systems unique to the specific imaging section.

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Radiologic Technologist - Radiography (RT - R). Professional registry for modality employed is required.
• BLS required within 30 days.
• Licensed by the Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy in the state of New Hampshire.
