This LNA/MA position has primary responsibility for working with the pain management and surgical spine team.
The LNA/MA will support the care of pain management and surgical spine patients: rooming and intake for clinic visits, room turnover, obtaining urine specimens, contacting external facilities for diagnostic imaging records.
Responsibilities also include obtaining medical information including vital signs, medication and allergy review, medical history, performing timeouts with providers prior to intervention to ensure patient safety, and maintaining an environment of care to meet quality and safety standards.

1. Responsible for managing the flow of patients through the clinic and procedural area in partnership with the Registered Nurse and medical provider team, including, but not be limited to, obtaining clinical data including vital signs, heights and weights, medication, and allergy review, learning needs assessment, and utilizing universal precautions, collecting
specimens or performing point of care testing and recording results in medical record, etc.
2. Assists in maintaining a clean and safe work environment by keeping the hallways clear of excess equipment, emptying linen bags
when full, etc.
3. Assists visitors and answer telephones.
4. Assists new co-workers in learning the work of the department.
5. Performs other duties as required or assigned.
• High school graduate preferred but not required.
• Must demonstrate keyboarding skills and be familiar with computer use.
• Previous hospital experience preferred.
• Licensed Nursing Assistant in the State of NH required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate required.
