Overview

Administrative support person for the Dartmouth Health system Medication Order-set Review Committee. Works with system pharmacy clinical leaders and team members to support the review process of medication order-sets for Dartmouth Health.

 

This is a Full Time, non-exempt, 40hour/week benefited position. Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Hybrid schedule in office Tuesdays/Thursdays.

Responsibilities

  1. Manages daily workflow within the Medication Order-set Review Tracker and SharePoint for all team members by providing customer service for reviewers.
  2. Maintains the Medication Orderset Tracker by requesting and uploading extracts, and assigning to appropriate subject matter experts for review.
  3. Identifies alignment opportunities as well as reporting outcomes for senior leadership.
  4. Coordinates the order-set alignment with multi-site reviews by scheduling meetings with appropriate stakeholders for timely order-set review and facilitation of communication to key stakeholders.
  5. Manages administrative calendars for all team members as it relates to medication order-set review, including the scheduling of all meetings.
  6. Leads weekly medication order-set meetings to support workflow efficiencies.
  7. Assists with the creation of agendas, and completion and distribution of minutes.
  8. Creation of Epic tickets for the modification of medication order-sets and coordination of any follow-up with subject matter experts as required.
  9. Works with MOS co-chairs to develop and maintain order-sets relative to the delivery of quality communication of orderset alignment, as well as day-to-day administrative activities.
  10. Performs other duties as required or assigned

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree with 1 year of administrative support experience, or the equivalent in education and experience required.
  • Previous experience working in a medical setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
  • Experience with SmartSheets, Excel and SharePoint required.
  • Experience in the concepts and applications of quality improvement required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • Ability to take initiative, make decisions, and act autonomously required.
  • Ability to prioritize work and handle multiple requests at once required
