Overview

The Department of Psychiatry at Dartmouth Health seeks a Psychometrist to join our dynamic neuropsychology team. Dartmouth Neuropsychologists deliver world-class clinical care to patients with a wide variety of medical and neurological complexities, helping to improve quality of life and enhance health outcomes. We have a long history of groundbreaking work in the areas of epilepsy, dementia, and traumatic brain injury, thanks to numerous collaborations and multi-disciplinary work across the health system. Active in research as well, the neuropsychology group always has a diverse mix of ongoing investigator-initiated projects. Our team consists of 9 neuropsychologists, 9 postdoctoral fellows, 3 predoctoral interns, and 3 psychometrists. In this role, you would work with our providers serving pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations, collaborating with both faculty and postdocs on the completion of neuropsychological assessments.

We strive to deliver care of the highest quality, while also increasing access to that care for the patients of Northern New England. Our team seeks to add a psychometrist who can balance efficiency with a focused appreciation for human behavior. We work as a unit, from psychometrist to intern/postdoc to faculty, thus relying heavily upon trust and communication to facilitate the best possible outcomes for patients and referring providers. As such, candidates must possess strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Previous experience as a psychometrist is preferred, but a background in psychology or behavioral health is also valuable.

This is a full-time, 40-hour/week benefitted position.
