Occupational Therapists at the VNH screen, evaluate, re-evaluate, and treat patients as well as coordinate and communicate treatment activities with our interdisciplinary team members and the patient.

 

The Occupational Therapist will:

  • Assess the patient's functional ability.
  • Provide direct treatments.
  • Select therapeutic modalities.
  • Communicate with all members of the health care team.
  • Document evaluations, treatment goals, and objectives.
  • Teach patients and family members the rationale for treatments and procedures.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be a licensed Occupational Therapist in Vermont and New Hampshire, or hold a compact license.
  • BS in Occupational Therapy or postgraduate Occupational Therapy Certification program. Passage of National Registration Exam.
