Overview

The Dartmouth Cancer Center (DCC), one of 53 NCI Designated Cancer Centers in the country, is seeking a full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible Breast Oncologist to join its collegial team of providers in southern New Hampshire. This position is located in our Manchester, NH site as well as at our Nashua, NH site. At the direction of the Medical Director for the Southern Region Cancer Center, the Breast Medical Oncologist will provide care to patients with a breast cancer diagnosis as well as provide oversight to the Breast Health Program, developing new breast cancer research clinical trials, and participate in cancer educational programs.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be an integral part of establishing the breast health program in the southern region campus, in partnership both a local DH breast surgical program in addition to established ties to the Dartmouth Cancer Center Lebanon academic medical center and the Comprehensive Breast Program.We are seeking a provider that would bring energy and enthusiasm combined with significant interest in building a breast cancer clinical trial structure and working in tandem with the breast cancer leadership at the main campus in Lebanon, NH as well as a local breast surgeon. This position will have research responsibilities dependent on the interests and experience of the applicant, which will include oversight of clinical trials at DCC Manchester. The remainder of the provider’s will be split between being actively engaged in clinical research, administration and teaching.
