With minimal support and guidance from supervisors, coordinates internal and/or external health partnerships and project teams to plan and implement population health initiatives. This role will support the work of the statewide Maternal Health Task Force, coordinate and facilitate community perinatal coalitions, support team communications including newsletter, website, social media. The coordinator will support the implementation of improvement projects emerging from the statewide strategic plan and the local coalition priorities. The role will ideally be filled by persons with BA degrees and experience in public health, coalition development, and co-design practices.
This is a hybrid role with time spent working remote, in the designated community, and some travel for in-person work with team.
1. Support development and facilitation of community perinatal coalitions
2. Assist community perinatal coalitions to engage persons with lived perinatal expertise as co-leaders
3. Provide project management and support to community perinatal coalitions for improvement initiatives
4. Support community coalitions to collect, assess, and make informed use of local and state data to support decision-making and project implementation
5. Lead communications including newsletter, social media, and website
6. Support other team initiatives as needed
7. Upholds standards of the D-H Code of Conduct Policy
