The ICN is a 30-bed Intensive Care Nursery caring for acutely ill and premature infants from all over the state of NH and parts of the state of VT. The care we provide is patient and family centered, with the family encouraged to be present and participate in their baby’s care from the beginning. They are considered part of the care team.
Nurses provide care to infants who are critically ill as well as convalescing with nurse to patient ratios that range from 1:1 to 1:3. Primary nursing is encouraged and contributes to family satisfaction. Responsible for clinical duties such as taking vital signs, giving injections, performing simple diagnostic tests, collecting specimens, drawing blood, sterilizing and cleaning equipment, and maintaining examination rooms at an outpatient care site.
Performs ultrasound examinations which include, 3D & 4D imaging with multiple imaging modalities, including high-risk gynecological/obstetrical examinations/procedures, infertility, and complex ultrasound guided biopsies.

Sets up and operates various types of equipment. Administers prescribed doses of drugs. Prepares and maintains a chart for each patient. Cleans, inspects and tests equipment.
Responsible for the day to day business transactions with assigned suppliers to ensure end user’s timely access to the appropriate supplies, services and equipment. Duties will include purchasing and managing orders for materiel within established policies and procedures. Buyer will be responsible for managing transactions by exception, including but not limited to: product shortages, recall notification, substitutions and return of defective or obsolete items.
Flexible Schedules Available – have the schedule that works best for you!
- Three 12-hour shifts per week doing admissions
- Four 8-hour shifts working Friday through Monday (work 32 hours and get paid for 40 hours)
- Five 8-hour shifts on a rotating schedule
- Four 10-hour shifts on a rotating schedule
